Friends, Greetings !
My name is Joe Gall.
I live in Egan, La. USA (70531) For many years I have wanted to share my story with you. The story is about a Catholic immigrant, oldest of 12, that ends up a Jew in Louisiana!
So, Welcome!
Allow me to share a little back round. I am 68 years old and have been, in the past, child, young adult, parent, had foster kids in our home (about 35) and have been called to do many different tasks. I started out as TV cameraman and moved up to director, a salesman of various commodities, the employee of my Dad, eventually taking over and growing the business he began (some of my family continue today in offshoots of that business.) Eventually I took over one aspect of that business, and after growing it to a million dollar business, failed and went bankrupt. That was followed by work as a radio announcer for 15 years and pastoring my own church for about 11 years. I finally retired after a three year stint as an onsite-manager with a federal contractor. I even founded and set up my own business. Various jobs followed, but I think I fully retired in 2015. No promises!
I most loved being a pastor with a very small flock. But even that came to a screeching halt when my wife found her Jewish roots ... and I found mine !
Anyway, if you think you would enjoy it, my blogs will be taken from an overview of my life that will give depth to this introduction. Many will make you ponder, some will enlighten you, some will entertain you ! I would be delighted to hear your comments, to answer your questions ... when you have them; and you will.
